- Was the founder of the National Association of Pet Rescue Professionals.
- Was one of the organizers of the Self-Publishers Online Conference, the first and only online conference specifically for “indie” publishers striving to create quality books.
- Led the Book Authors Circle author mastermind group and offered author and publisher training at her SelfPubU training site. Created a total of ten comprehensive courses in the writing and publishing a book program.
- Was the president of the non-profit Small Publishers Artists and Writers Network
